As believers, serving others comes from the overflow of our discipleship and our love for Christ. One of the ways we can do that is by volunteering, both inside and outside the church. There are many different ways to serve at FLPV. Check out the list below to find a team or opportunity to join!

Kids Life Nursery/Pre K Volunteer
In this role, you care for and disciple our youngest church family members. You'll lead children through play and song connecting to the weeks main biblical idea.
Commitment Level: 2-4 weeks/month

Kids Life Elementary Volunteer
Leads kids grades K-5 in activities and discussion surrounding large group teaching.
Commitment Level: 2-4 Weeks/Month

Kids Life: Check In/Check Out
Facilitate the check-in process for Kids Life – welcome families so that parents feel confident about leaving their children, and kids feel cared for and excited about being in Kids Life. These volunteers will be at the Kids Life front desk helping families get checked in and out, answering registration questions, and solving minor registration issues. Commitment Level: 1+ week/month

Connections: Weekend Volunteer
Serve our church through proactive hospitality by ushering, parking, set up/tear down, or communion teams on Sunday mornings.

Production: Presentation
Prepares and operates the equipment necessary to display video and any graphics on all screens. The Proclaim operator delivers the lyrics, Scripture verses, videos and message notes while creating visual appeal, supporting the Worship leader and pastor(s) to allow the congregation to worship the Lord without distraction (1 Cor. 10:31).
Commitment Level: 1+ weeks/month

Production: Sound
support for our Sunday service through the means of audio. Training will be provided to ensure you have all of the tools to fully operate by yourself. Commitment Level: 1+ weeks/month

Facilities: Mowing
Responsible for completing necessary grass mowing and trimming. Equipment is provided. Commitment Level: 1+ weeks/month

Complete necessary cleaning tasks within the church building. Commitment: 1+ week/ month

Complete smaller outdoor landscaping maintenance (i.e. trimming, weeding, etc.). Commitment: 1+ weeks/month

SOUL Youth: Volunteer
Lead large and small group discussions and activities and disciple students throughout the week. Form relationship with family. Commitment Level: Weekly
